Trippr World India collects information about our guests and visitors to our web sites so that we can provide an experience that is responsive to our guests needs. We endeavour to collect information only with your knowledge and with your permission if necessary. The types of personally identifiable information that we collect may include your name, home, work and e-mail addresses, telephone and fax numbers, credit card information, date of birth, gender, and lifestyle information such as room preferences, leisure activities, names and ages of children, and other information necessary to fulfil special requests (e.g., health conditions that require special room accommodations).
Use of Your Information
We collect your information for the safety of our guests, and to understand who we are accommodating at our properties, for the safety of our staff. In addition, website user and guest data is collected for statistical purposes. We also collect our guests’ nationality, date of birth, gender, for statistical analysis purposes. When you visit our websites, we may automatically log your IP address (the unique address which identifies your computer on the internet). We use IP addresses to help us manage our websites and to collect broad demographic information for analytical use. For reservations, we send guests confirmation emails and will therefore require your email address. Exceptions may occur in the case of us needing to contact previous guests in relation to post or last property.
In order for us to confirm a reservation for you, we do require some information. This will usually consist of: Your name, Email address, Gender, Telephone or mobile number – in case of an emergency, Nationality, Date of Birth, Identification data i.e. Passport, Driving License details, Date of arrival and departure, Credit card details, Upon arrival, we will require the same information from your fellow travellers, please ensure they are all aware of this to ensure a quick and efficient check-in.
Credit / Debit Card Data
Trippr World asks for your credit/debit card details (incl. Card Number, Expiry Date and CVV) in order to confirm and guarantee your booking. The card details will be encrypted into our payment gateway’s (Airpay) database and we assure you that your data is safe. We will not use your card data for any purpose other than confirming your booking. Your amount will be debited only if you do not follow our cancellation policy.
Keeping Guests’ Information Updated
As a Hospitality and leisure provider, we have guests returning to our properties on a regular basis. It is your duty to inform us if any of your personal information, which we hold about you, needs to be updated. We may contact you at any time, if you have booked accommodation with us and we suspect we hold false information about you.
The Internet is not a secure medium. However, we have put in place various security procedures, including firewalls that are used to block unauthorized traffic to our website.
Third Party Websites
Photography and Film
No permission is needed to take photos or film at our properties. However, we do recommend asking for permission before photographing or filming other guests who are not part of your group. Verbal consent is solicited as a goodwill gesture. On occasions we may commission crews to film or take photographs at our properties for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, you are required to voluntarily leave the filming or photography area.
Disclosing Guests’ Personal Information to Third Parties
Other than that for the purposes referred to in this policy, we will not disclose any personal information without your permission unless we are legally obliged to do so (for example, if required to do so by court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud).
- If you have booked a room through the use of a travel agency or an online travel agency (such as Booking.com, MakemyTrip, Hostelworld and Expedia), you must cancel or modify your booking through the agency that you used to make the booking
- For Group Bookings of 8 or more than 8 guests, intimation by email has to be sent at least 7 days prior to check in date and time for free cancellation
- In case of any Offers and Promotions the payment will be NON REFUNDABLE at any point.
- From the day of booking till 72 hours before the check-in time it’s 25% of the total charges, any cancellations within the 72-hour window will be 100% of the total amount
Room Extension Policy
- Please check at the front desk between 9AM – 9PM to extend your beds. It is solely on availability and on the current prices.
- Payment has to be made in advance to confirm your extension
